I am spending my retirement in the woods under Coon Rock. That doesn’t mean I am in a hole in the ground. It does mean that I am spending a lot of time by myself. Something that is hard to get use to. Oh….I am still married, but during the day I am sitting here by myself. Thus the reason I decided to start a website again. Also my fellow Arena Historians were looking for a place to put their information and I decided I could help with that as well. Keeps me busy and my mind clear!
When you retire and you are suddenly aware that you have just cut your income in half and you are a long way from a city with jobs, you start to re-think your time. If I need to go to the grocery, I try and add all of my errands into one trip! I have decided I don’t need caller ID any more, so I cancelled that! I also need satellite (no local tv under CoonRock) but I cut down on the number of channels. I am trying to cut down on all of the things that a few months ago didn’t even cross my mind. So this is RETIREMENT!
I think I need to Re-Think this! Later.
